Brian and I will be performing a couple songs at the Big Star's Third concert at First Avenue on Sept. 30. Also on the bill: Chris Stamey (dBs), Mike Mills (REM), Jody Stephens (original Big Star member), and Dave Pirner (Soul Asylum). This recreation of the classic Big Star Third album will include songs from all the band's albums, with many guest musicians and a chamber orchestra.
